Towards the end of December last year I attended the exhibition of wedding dresses designed by the incredible Jean Paul Gaultier titled "Love is love" at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade. As someone who's been fascinated by fashion and wedding dresses ever since I was little I knew this exhibition was going to amaze me, and it has exceeded all of my expectations. The museum showcases thirty eight wedding dresses which are original creations of the prestigious designer, and each and every one of them is a perfect match of innovative tailorings and magical fabrics and textures. Masterpiece after masterpiece - there was just not enough time for me to satisfy my fascination by these creations, and I found myself imagining how fun it would be to try them all on, as though I was back to being a child who watched fashion show broadcasts on TV.
This unique experience will sweep you off your feet, and I am honored that my hometown was chosen to host the European premiere. It will last until the 14th of February - tickets can be purchased online and all the safety precautions due to the pandemic are applied, making sure everyone can relax and enjoy the show. ♡
