Jelena - ime koje ponosno nosim već dvadeset godina. Nije da sam imala mnogo izbora, niti je ono naročito specifično, ali je deo svega što sam bila svih ovih godina, i što ću tek biti u budućnosti. Ne osećam se naročito starije, ali svakako da me sustižu zrelost mojih novih godina i odgovornosti koje ih prate, tako da mogu reći da se osećam za nijansu odraslije. Neću govoriti: "Kada pogledam unazad..." kao što mnogi rade, i to iz jednog jednostavnog razloga. Ne gledam unazad jer se nisam tamo uputila.


Jelena - the name that I proudly have for twenty years already. It's not that I had much of a choice, though, and it's not too specific, but it's a part of everything I've been for all these years, and what I'll still get to be in the future. I don't feel much older, but the maturity of my new age and responsibilities that follow are surely catching up with me, so I can say that I feel just slightly more grown up. I won't say: "And now that I look back..." like many people do, and it's for one simple reason. I'm not looking back, for I'm not going that way.

Skala Marion

Moja mama je do pre par dana bila na odmoru u Skala Marionu i, kako nisam bila u mogućnosti da putujem sa njom zbog ispitnog roka, u povratku mi je donela delove raja koji je tako blizu. Priznajem da mi nedostaje more i vremena da se malo odmorim od gradske vreve i gomile obaveza, ali mislim da mogu da se strpim bar još malo da konačno i ja odem na odmor. Pre nego što dobijem više slobodnog vremena da se posvetim blogovanju, nudim vam priliku da na osnovu ovih nekoliko fotografija zaključite da put do raja nije uvek dalek i skup. ☀


My mum was on vacation in Skala Marion until a couple of days ago, and since I was unable to come along due to my exams, on her way back home she brought me bits and pieces of paradise which is so close. I admit that I miss the seaside and some rest from the rush hour and so many obligations, but I think that I can be just a little more patient and finally go on a vacation of my own. Before I get any more free time to blog more often, I'm offering you an opportunity to take a look at these photos and see that a trip to paradise is not always too long and expensive. ☀

Ovi proizvodi su mi spasili nokte. Pre nego što sam počela da ih koristim nije bilo šanse da imam duge nokte i lep manikir, jer kad god bih puštala nokte da porastu, desilo bi se da se makar jedan (najčešće na kažiprstu) nokat okrnji ili polomi, a izlivanje noktiju nije dolazilo u obzir jer bi to zaisgurno uništilo mogu nokatnu ploču. Jednog dana jedna ljubazna manikirka koja je uspela da iole dovede moje ruke u red preporučila mi je ova dva proizvoda, i verujte mi, bila sam i više nego spremna da pokušam. Nisam ni mislila da će rezultat biti tako dobar za tako malo vremena. Nokti su mi duži nego ikada pre, zanoktica skoro i da nema, a učinak je tako dobar da mi drugarice nisu ni poverovale kada sam im rekla da su mi nokti zaista toliko porasli! Mala napomena: s obzirom na to da se bliži ispitni rok za ovaj mesec, neću moći da budem aktivna na blogu i redovno pišem, tako da se nemojte iznenaditi ako odsustvo malo potraje, a kako se ispitni rok narednog meseca gotovo nadovezuje na njega, postovi neće biti tako česti. Možete biti sigurni da ću naći način da pišem na ovom blogu kad god ugrabim malo slobodnog vremena!

Ne mogu da verujem da sam ovo propustila, i to sa ovolikim zakašnjenjem. Mada, kad malo bolje razmislim, njihova Vizantijom inspirisana kolekcija me je toliko razočarala da nisam imala želju da pogledam njihove kreacije, ni iz prethodnih ni iz novijih kolekcija. Međutim, ova me je oduševila nežnim roze i belim tonovima, besprekornim čipkanim motivima i primesama zlatnog sjaja sa toliko otmenosti i ukusa. Sada bih mogla reći da jedna kolekcija koja nije po mom ukusu nikako nije odraz lošeg dizajnera ili modne kuće, već samo mišljenja pojedinca koji može da se slaže ili ne slaže sa estetikom određene kolekcije. Ova revija me je ubedila da svakako pripazim na njihove kreacije u budućnosti jer sve govori u prilog tome da me u svakom času mogu oduševiti. :)


I really can't believe that I missed out on this, especially after so much time has passed. Although, when I think about it better, their Byzantine collection disappointed me so much that I had no will to check out their designs whatsoever, regardless if they were from previous collections or the upcoming ones. However, this one left me speechless with tender pink and white tones, flawless lace motives and touch of golden with so much taste and class. Now I am free to say that one collection that doesn't match my personal taste definitely doesn't label a designer or brand as a failure, but an opinion of an individual who is free to both agree and disagree with the aesthetics of a particular collection. This fashion show convinced me to certainly keep a look out for their future creations as they are very likely to bring me to a loss of word at any time. :)
